Title: Inspector General Noncommissioned Officer

a. Description of positions
Identifies positions in grades SFC and above in Inspector General (IG) offices requiring Soldiers qualified as inspection NCOs, asst/investigation NCOs, or inspector general NCOs.
b. Qualifications
Must successfully complete the Department of the Army Inspector General (DAIG) Course.
c. Restrictions
(1)
Individuals can have no record of conviction by special or general courts-martial or civilian courts of offenses listed in AR 27-10 (Military Justice), chapter 24 or otherwise required to register as a sexual offender under AR 27-10, chapter 24.
(2)
For use with positions graded SFC through SGM.
Soldiers must be a SSG (P) or above.
This SQI will not be removed or replaced by any other SQI while the individual is assigned to IG NCO duties.
SQI B will not be used to classify positions that are limited to clerical, administrative, or supply support of IG organizations.
