B5A — Cyber Capability Engineer (CCE)

a. PDSI Code Proponent.

b. PDSI Qualifications.

Successful completion of the 90th Cyberspace Operations Squadron (COS) Mission Qualification Training Course (MOTC), the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Tool Development Qualification Course (TDQC), or the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Computer Network Operations Development Course (CNODP).

Alternatively, service members may also qualify for the PDSI if they have a Computer Programming related (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) postsecondary education degree (PED) or 3-years of documented programming-related experience.

c. Activity authorized to submit requests for award of this PDSI.

B5B — Urban Search and Rescue Extractor Level I (US&R EXT LVL 1)

a. PDSI Code Proponent.

B5C — CGSC Art of War Scholar

B5D — Better Opportunity for Single Soldier (BOSS) President

a. PDSI Code Proponent.

To qualify a Soldier must complete all of the following:

(1) Attend at least one Department of the Army BOSS Training Forum; which entails a 40 hour curriculum training of the spectrum of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation tenants with emphasis on BOSS.

(2) Complete all online BOSS courses through the Family and Morale Welfare Recreation (FMWR) Academy.

(3) Must have at least one year in position as the Installation BOSS President.
