Air Force Pt Test 55 to 59 (Standards & Charts)

The af pt test consists of three components for air force members aged 54 to 59: a 1.5-mile run, sit-ups, and push-ups. In addition, airmen who cannot complete these three components will choose from alternative tests, which are as follows:

  • A 20-meter HAMR (high-aerobic multi-shuttle run)
  • Hand-release push-ups
  • Cross-legged reverse crunches
  • Planks

The Air Force PT test minimum standards by gender are listed below; this means the minimum points required to pass this test if you are between the ages of 55 and 59.

The age range of 55 to 59 is a crucial period during which people frequently experience significant changes to their health and well-being. As the body ages, it undergoes several physiological changes that can affect overall fitness. Still, people in this age group can help themselves stay physically fit and healthy by leading an active and healthy life.

The test assesses the participant’s endurance, core, and upper body strength. As you can see below, the minimum standard requirements for older people are much lower than those for younger people because they naturally get less fit as they age.
