ADVANCED INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

Advanced individual training focuses on technical and MOS-oriented (military occupational specialty) subjects; therefore, PRT should continue to prepare these Soldiers to meet the physical requirements of their first unit of assignment. It is recommended that commanders should continue conducting toughening phase activities until Soldiers meet Army standards before transitioning to sustaining phase activities. See Chapter 5 for AIT planning considerations.
