Enlisted personnel, officers, and warrant officers will wear subdued grade insignia on the patrol cap and sun (boonie) hat.
Grade insignia (branch insignia for chaplains) is centered on the front of the headgear left to right and top to bottom.
No other insignia other than the nametape is worn on the headgear (see figs 21–14 and 21–15).
