School proponents determine which courses use all four box selections for the Overall Academic Achievement assessment on DA Form 1059 and DA Form 1059–2.
For courses that do not utilize all four box selections for the Overall Academic Achievement, the upper two box check selections on DA Form 1059 (for example, “Commandant’s List”/“Superior Academic Achievement”) and DA Form 1059–2 (for example, “Distinguished Graduate”/“Superior Graduate”) will not be used when completing the Overall Academic Achievement assessment.
