- Army 670-1 jewelry regulation allows soldiers to wear wristwatches, religious bracelets, an identification bracelet, and two rings.
- With a wedding set, AR 670-1 Jewelry Regulation allows only one ring.
Exceptions and Limitations:
- There are exceptions to the ring rule, e.g., when a commander decides you can’t wear a ring or a watch for safety reasons.
Permissible AR 670-1 Jewelry Items:
- Wristwatches
- Religious bracelets
- An identification bracelet
- A total of two rings (Only one wedding set ring)
Jewelry Regulation for Female Soldiers:
- Female soldiers are the only ones allowed to wear earrings while on duty
- Earrings are permitted only when they’re in the service, in the dress, mess, and evening uniform
- Earrings are not allowed while in combat or physical fitness uniforms.
Standards for Male Soldiers:
- Men can wear earrings only when they are in civilian clothes and not on duty.
- Earrings for men can’t be anything extreme, like gauged ears or similar styles.
