Monitoring submitted evaluations

EES and ERS will be used as the primary tool to determine the processing status and other administrative information for all OERs, NCOERs, and AERs received at HQDA.

These systems allow rating officials, administrative personnel, and rated Soldiers to monitor evaluation report progress throughout the submission and processing cycle.

Users may review processing status updates, identify administrative issues, confirm receipt by HQDA, verify routing actions, and determine whether evaluation reports have successfully completed processing requirements.

Monitoring tools within EES and ERS assist organizations in maintaining accountability and ensuring evaluation reports are processed in the correct sequence and within required timelines.

Regular monitoring also helps identify rejected, returned, incomplete, or delayed evaluation reports that may require corrective action before processing can continue.

Rating officials and administrative offices should routinely verify evaluation report status to ensure reports are received, processed, and properly filed without unnecessary delay.

Timely monitoring supports personnel management actions and helps prevent issues affecting promotion boards, assignments, schooling opportunities, career progression, and AMHRR filing accuracy.

Administrative personnel may also use EES and ERS to track submission history, review evaluation processing details, and confirm compliance with HQDA submission requirements.

Once an evaluation report has processed to completion, it will be posted to a Soldier’s AMHRR (refer to para 3–11 for information on accessing EES).
