Policy and procedures for processing evaluation appeals are in chapter 4.
The Chief, NGB is responsible for screening and forwarding all appeals submitted by ARNG members for periods of ARNG service.
This appendix establishes the responsibilities and procedures associated with the processing of evaluation appeals for ARNG personnel.
It explains that ARNG evaluation appeals are governed by the same overall appeal policies and procedural requirements established for the Army Evaluation Reporting System while also identifying the role of the Chief, NGB in the appeal review and forwarding process.
The appendix applies to appeals involving periods of ARNG service and ensures that evaluation appeals are properly screened, reviewed, and processed through the appropriate administrative channels before submission to the appropriate Army review authority.
The guidance also reinforces the requirement that appeals must comply with the policies, timelines, documentation standards, and procedural requirements established in chapter 4.
